The International Leather Split Group – Ware Consortile is an international group leader in the supply of bovine leather and raw materials firstly to the tanning industry, other than food, health and agricultural sectors.

 

What we do

The International Leather Split Group is a global reference for the trade of wet-blue leather splits, wet-blue hides, fresh and salted hides, lime splits and crust. It supplies more than 1.000.000 splits and 250.000 hides monthly, being active in over 13 countries around the world and counting more than 15 industrial plants (including production sites, warehouses and tanneries) through which it dispatches its products to over 70 countries worldwide.

What we do

The International Leather Split Group trades wet-blue leather splits, wet-blue hides, fresh and salted hides, lime splits and crust, supplying more than 1,000,000 splits and 250,000 hides monthly. The Group counts 9 members and 6 partners, for a total of 15 companies, spread on 3 continents, with 20 active production sites, through which it dispatches its products to over 70 countries worldwide.

Other than the traditional activities carried out, the Group is active in the tanning by-products recovery, as well as in marketing, communication and new projects developement.

The Split

“Split” is not only a name, but a significant identifying element and Group’s flagship product. The icon of the Group is a cow, known all around the world as the symbol of the Italian company Lamipel S.p.A., the first company of the Group in terms of performances and market relevance, and also the first one to support and believe in the project.
